Continuing your Jewish journey—at any age
2017 ADULT B'NEI MITZVAH CLASS - Class Full
Open to Temple members only
Every Tuesday at Irmas Campus (westside) from 7 to 9 p.m. starting on February 14, 2017
You may not have had the pleasure and privilege of being called to the Torah at the age of 13. Perhaps it’s finally time to give yourself this unique, unforgettable gift of Jewish knowledge—and the accompanying self-confidence!
The Adult B'nei Mitzvah class is a six-month, fast-track program that culminates in a Shabbat morning ceremony at the end of the summer. The two-hour class is split into two parts: the first hour will be devoted to Judaica—learning about the holidays, the Jewish Life Cycle, and the core tenets of Judaism—while in the second hour participants will learn to read Hebrew and chant from the Torah.
Teachers are Rabbi Susan Nanus, Cantor Seth Ettinger, and Hebrew tutor Bob Levy.
Cost: $360. Open to Temple members only.
